Privacy notice
How we use personal information when you visit this website, send us an enquiry or become a customer. Last updated 13 October 2026.
The short version
- This website sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and has no analytics, tracking or advertising.
- If you send us an enquiry, we use your details to reply and give you an estimate, and to do the job if you go ahead. Nothing else.
- We never sell your information or use it for marketing.
Who we are
Future Property Maintenance is a trading name of Didov Limited, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 16474852). Our registered office is Buttercup Cottage, Morgans Vale Road, Redlynch, Salisbury, SP5 2HY.
Didov Limited is the controller of the personal information described here. For any question about your information, or to use your rights, email [email protected].
Information we collect and why
When you send an enquiry through our website
The form asks for:
- your name, email address and the postcode or town of the job
- your phone number, if you choose to give it
- a description of the job and, if you choose, the type of work, when you'd like it done, how you'd like your estimate and what kind of customer you are
- any photos or documents (such as a floorplan) you attach, which may show the inside of your property
We use this to reply to you, prepare an estimate, arrange a visit if one is needed and, if you go ahead, plan and carry out the work. Our lawful basis is that it's necessary to take steps you've asked for before entering into a contract with us, and then to perform that contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
The form sends your enquiry to us as an email. The website itself doesn't keep a copy or put it in a database. We need your name, email address, the job's location and a description of the job to reply and give an estimate; everything else is optional.
When the form runs in a modern browser, photos are resized and re-saved on your device before they are sent, which removes hidden details stored in the photo such as where it was taken. Photos sent by email, through the form with JavaScript switched off, or in a format your browser can't open (such as some iPhone HEIC photos), arrive as they are.
When you email us
We use what you tell us, and your contact details, for the same purposes and on the same lawful basis as enquiries sent through the form.
When you visit the website
Like every website, our server receives technical information when your browser asks for a page: your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser and device type. We use it only to deliver the site and keep it secure, for example to stop the enquiry form being used to send spam. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a working, secure website (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
To limit repeated form submissions, the website remembers the IP addresses that have recently sent the form for up to 15 minutes, in memory only. Our server may also record requests in short-term technical logs, which we keep for no longer than 30 days.
Cookies and similar technologies
This website does not use cookies, or anything similar such as local storage, tracking pixels or device fingerprinting. It has no analytics and no advertising. Everything on it, including fonts, is served from our own website, so your browser doesn't contact other companies when you visit. That's why there's no cookie banner.
Some pages link to other websites, such as Companies House, the Environment Agency, Trusted Payments or review sites. If you follow those links, the other site's own privacy policy applies.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with:
- Our email providers. Enquiries arrive in our business mailbox, which is provided by Microsoft (Microsoft 365). We may also use an email delivery service to pass the form's emails to that mailbox.
- Our website hosting provider, whose servers run this website.
- For customers: our accountant and HM Revenue & Customs, for invoices and tax records, and our card payment provider if you pay by card.
- Trusted Payments, only if you choose to pay through it: we share the details needed to set up the job there, and Trusted Payments handles them under its own privacy policy.
- Other businesses we refer you to, for example for gas or electrical work we don't do, but only if you ask us to.
These providers act on our instructions. We will also share information if the law requires it.
Some providers, such as Microsoft, may handle information outside the UK. Where they do, it is protected by the safeguards UK law requires, such as adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't go ahead: deleted within 12 months of our last contact with you.
- Customers: we keep records of the job, including estimates and invoices, for 6 years after the job is finished. The law requires us to keep accounting records, and this is also the period in which a legal claim about the work could be made.
- Website technical information: up to 15 minutes in memory for the form's spam protection, and up to 30 days in server logs.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- get a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- have inaccurate information corrected
- have your information deleted, where we don't need to keep it
- ask us to limit how we use it
- object to us using it where we rely on legitimate interests
- receive information you gave us in a format you can pass on to someone else
To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. There's normally no charge, and we'll reply within one month.
We don't make decisions about you by automated means alone, and we don't use your information for profiling.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first at [email protected] so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we use personal information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
